To be fair to EW, they don't really class this as a "best of" list in the magazine...more of a list of works that are memorable either for quality or influence. They also point out that they tried to limit superstar writers/directors/actors/etc to a couple of works, lest the list become dominated by a few people.
Still, lists like this are quite often as interesting for the discussion they provoke as any actual content on the list itself. Which is why I bothered to post it.
