A moment of squee

We are sitting in the VIP lounge at Cirque du Soleil, waiting for the show to start. Good drinks, good seats, and a cool foggy evening in Atlanta.

For at least this moment, life fails to suck.

Huh. I was a stone's throw from you guys earlier this evening, probably about the time you were sitting in the lounge, watching The Spirit at the Regal Atlantic Station 16 Cinema. A whole mess of folks were arriving in the parking garage for Cirque at the same time I drove in, and attendants were asking if I was there for that. Hope you had as much fun as I did.

I dreamed of you last night. You had sort of a cameo role in the grocery store. You were in the aisle for pickles, soup, hugs, and magazines, between two shelves of canned goods, trying to look inconspicuous as people you knew walked by until they noticed you, did a double take, and came back to get a hug. Dream-me was in the middle of hunting down brigands who had stolen my painstakingly-assembled poker-chip model of a pirate ship, and they were GETTING AWAY WITH IT OH NOES! so it was nice to get a dream-hug in the middle of a frustrating chase scene. (There was a happy ending; some vikings in the parking lot caught them and took my ship to a local pond where some nice snakes got to sail around in it.)
