Gay marriage

autographedcatA lot of people are writing a lot of things about the whole gay marriage issue. I considered adding my voice, but to be honest,
a) the whole issue leaves me baffled and weary, and
b) Others have said almost everything I want to say anyway
So instead, here's a link to a few of the better thoughts I've read on the issue recently:

In the end, I know, know in my heart, that this too shall pass, and that we will take one more brave step towards enlightenment and away from ignorance and bigotry. It will take time, and there will be suffering, and we will sometimes wonder if it will happen in our lifetime, but we will move forward and we will see a better world ahead of us, because the only weapons they have is fear and hate. Our weapon is love, and it is mightier than theirs.
